Adventure – noun
If you enjoy photography and are looking for fantastic holiday experiences, then read on. You may be a complete beginner and have no idea what those settings on your camera actually do, or are lacking in confidence. If that’s the case I will be more than happy to teach and continually guide you as you take your camera off ‘auto’ and start to take full control.
On the other hand if you are very experienced you can just ‘get on with it’ if you don’t need my help. Either way, sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride as I do all the planning and preparation. I’m also a firm believer that you don’t need to have super expensive cameras or extra long lenses to achieve great shots and have fun with photography – it’s all about making the best of what you do have 🙂
I’ve run 3 tours to Namibia now and am planning my fourth. In the early stages of planning I’m thinking of a trip to Botswana, India (to photograph Tigers,) Vietnam, and at some point I would to run a trip to the Masai Mara in Kenya during the Great Migration. That’s just for starters! I’m open to ideas too 🙂
I’ve also been asked to consider running some ‘ladies only’ trips as I’ve been told by many women that they feel intimidated by tour leaders and men who have super long lenses and baffle them with ‘expert’ jargon. Many landscape/wildlife holidays are run by men, which can leave female participants feeling inadequate or not wanting to ask questions for fear of appearing silly, so if a ladies only trip is something you’d be interested in, please let me know.
